Google's New Feature Doesn't Relate to New Firefox

Clever coincidence or outright browser conspiracy?

On the day Mozilla released Firefox 6, Google released a new feature available for Chrome and Google Bar users on Internet Explorer.

Google Related will automatically suggest related content to user searches by sending your data back to Google, who will then in turn offer related topics.

A thin bar will show up at the bottom of the browser minimized, showing related searches that could include maps, videos, images or reviews of restaurants users are searching for.

If interested in a related search, simply click on the related link and a new window or tab will open.

Users concerned about privacy can either turn of the service off or read more about how Google uses the data.
