Two Years Of Kindergarten?

The debate about how old a child must be to start kindergarten is an old and hot one, with parents and politicians and principals and psychologists all weighing in.

California lawmakers have been debating whether to move up the date by which children must turn 5 to enter kindergarten. One reason: having fewer children in kindergarten saves money.
