BRÛLÉE MEETS THE BACKYARD: Of all the videos that have caught our imagination in recent days, the one of a gentleman making crème brûlée on an outdoor grill is way up there. Because, it is an unlikely thing. Or seemed to be, long ago, in the past. We won't call crème brûlée a particularly fussy treat to make, but it does require a certain amount of coddling. Grills are such the coddle-free place. We like this idea. Bet Dad will, too. We might have to fight him for the pan. Post-Father's Day, of course.
