Couch buying can become an obsession.
Maybe "couch buying" is the wrong way to couch it. "Couch planning" or "couch dreaming" are probably more accurate. After all, that big, long, sittable piece of furniture square in the middle of the living room is no minor purchase. So couch obsessors plan and measure and browse and plan some more.
