Cast Your Vote: Mammoth Film Fest



    Mammoth Film Festival: With winter upon us, two activities that usually arise to the top of our list: movie-watching and heading to the mountains to partake in some sort of snow sport (whether it be boarding, skiing or tubing).  This year, why not do both--or all four?  At the 4th annual elimination-style Feature Film Tournament, you’ll get to see films from around the world alongside attendees from as far away as Frankfurt, Germany or Tel Aviv, Israel.  The Festival, held in Mammoth Lakes, will feature an array of dramas, comedies, documentaries, foreign films, short films, as well as a newly added faith-based film category. 

    How it works: You--yes, you-- and the rest of the audience will determine the winners of Best Drama, Best Comedy, Best Documentary, Best Foreign, and the overall Best Picture awards. 

    Hit the slopes: While there, hit the Mammoth Mountain slopes, which happens to be at one of the largest and best ski resorts in the U.S.

    And the 2010 dates are…: Anticipation is building, just tell us already! Dec 8-12.  Oh, and you can see a list of this year’s films here. Check the website for details on how to attend and possible discounts for lodging. "And the winner goes to..."
