Father's Day Pirate Ship Adventure

ARRRR, ETC.: Dad may not be quite the swashbuckler. Perhaps you've never seen him dangling from a mast while waving a flag and singing a shanty. (Or perhaps you have; we shan't assume, as we do know some fun fathers who go to wacky lengths to impress their kids.) But we'll guess that your father may spend a lot of his day at work, and not on the high seas. That could be remedied, at least for a day, via the Father's Day Weekend Pirate Ship Adventure in San Diego. The San Diego Sheraton and Pirate Ship Adventures are linking arms and raising a toast to dads via this water-nice package.

THE DETAILS: There's a night in a double room at the Sheraton, two tickets to the Pirate Ship Adventures, and a "sailing excursion" (no planks have been mentioned, so don't fear). There are other goodies, like a Goodie Bag. Prices start at $179 and $199 (if you sail on Saturday, your package starts at $199; if you sail on Sunday, $179). It's an offbeat and photograph-worthy way to mark the holiday. Just please vow to us you'll get Pops in a tri-cornered hat and breeches. He'll want to brag to the office come Monday, right?
