FUN FACT: When we heard that the Mission Inn had a Labor Day deal on, we thought, well. September. Shouldn't they be hanging those famous Christmas lights about then? Of course, we were being cheeky. But then we read that, actually, right after Labor Day, the boxes full of tinsel and ornaments start to get hauled out. No joke. If you've seen this turrety landmark during the holidays you know we're in no way joshing. Labor Day, however, should be tinsel-free. Just you, a friend, a pool, and some sunshine.
