On Sale: Stagecoach Festival 2015

Country's biggest desert jam opens up the lines a half year early.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING... next April? Okay, probably your taxes, yes. For sure, you might want to hit some spring cleaning action, and hard, if you didn't exactly get around to it this year. And you might be gardening, enjoying an early picnic if there's fine weather, and enjoying the soft pleasures of a Southern California spring. You could also be going to the Stagecoach Festival, one of country's music's biggest weekends and by far one of the twangiest, most rocking 'n raucous long weekends on the live tunes calendar. Sure, you might pencil that in, on whatever calendar you already have for next year -- you bought your 2015 calendar already, right? -- get on that -- or you could lock it in, firmly, right now, by buying your tickets to the springtime sound party.

THAT'S RIGHT... Unlike its desert-mondo cousin Coachella Music & Arts Festival, Stagecoach puts its tickets on sale way out. Like wayyyyy out (you know we're serious, what with the extra y action there). In fact, as is tradition, the alt-country-old-school-vintage-new-stars festival goes a half a year out to put up its tickets, which all leads to this: Tickets for the 2015 Stagecoach Festival are now on sale. The sale kicked off on Oct. 14, and, yep, social media reveals that fans are already eager and in snapping-'em-up mode.

NEED TO GET ON THAT? Get on it here, and watch for announcements as to who will play the fest (Tim McGraw and Miranda Lambert are already topping the roster, as are Merle Haggard and Kacey Musgraves). As for scheduling your taxes and spring cleaning? We can't help you there, but good luck. Maybe knowing you'll be at Stagecoach from April 24-26, 2015, will give you the oomph you require.
