NATURE TECH: So many state parks nearby, and within those parks so many interesting and challenging hikes and trails. But how to access maps and directions in an easy, oh-so-2011 fashion? An app, of course. The California State Parks Foundation has a new partner in EveryTrail, and from the new partner's name you can probably guess that byways and walkways and through-ways are at the heart of this application. Some 50 state parks are featured, and the iPhone app is free to boot. Hiking boot, that is.
