Carol Burnett to Receive LA Press Club Legend Award on December 2

Legendary comedienne, singer, actress, writer and producer Carol Burnett will accept Los Angeles Press Club Legend Award at the National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards Gala on December 2, 2018 in downtown Los Angeles.  Burnett will sit also down for an on-stage conversation with award-winning NBC4 Anchor and Reporter Robert Kovacik.

From her eleven seasons starring in the ground-breaking 'Carol Burnett Show'  to her current work talking with kids 'A Little Help with Carol Burnett,' she has delighted generations as well as serving as an inspiration for women in the entertainment business and the community.

“I am deeply honored to be recognized by The Los Angeles Press Club with their Legend Award. I have been very fortunate to have the career that one dreams about and part of that success was made possible by the nice things you journalists have had to say about my work. Keep it up….I still have a few movies and TV series in my future!” said Carol Burnett.

The Los Angeles Press Club established the NAEJ Awards in 2008. The Legend Award honors individuals within the entertainment industry for their lifetime achievement and contributions to society.
