NBC4 Southern California continued the annual tradition of supporting the 2018 Taste of Soul Family Festival on October 20, the popular annual event that draws tens of thousands of people along Crenshaw Blvd. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., thousands of attendees stopped by the NBC4 booth to meet NBC4 Anchor Michael Brownlee, Reporter Jonathan Gonzalez, Reporter Patrick Healy, and Consumer Investigative Reporter Randy Mac.
The free event also included many food from local restaurant booths, live entertainment, artists, local businesses and dozens of community organizations.
The event was founded by Danny Bakewell Sr. and is presented by the Los Angeles Sentinel Newspaper, benefiting the South L.A. non-profit organizations Mothers in Action and the Brotherhood Crusade.
