NBC4 Meteorologist David Biggar showcased the station's mobile Doppler vehicle StormRanger4 at the inaugural “Woodley’s Wings & Wheels Open House and STEM Expo" at the Compton Woodley Airport on March 11, 2017.
The event is organized by the United Team of Professionals in Aviation (UTOPIA) and aims to enhance programs that expose youth to aviation and provide hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering and math.
The event was free and open to the public. Attendees were able to experience first-hand the outcomes of technological advancements and innovations from the transportation industries.
