NBC4 Participated in the City of Pasadena's Black History Month Parade & Festival

NBC4 Southern California participated in the City of Pasadena's 33rd annual Black History Month Parade and Festival on February 21.  Veteran NBC4 Reporter Beverly White was the 2015 Grand Marshal and the station hosted a booth at the festival. 

Residents of Pasadena and beyond gathered with their family and friends to celebrate the more than 70 parade participants featuring the 2015 Rose Queen Madison Triplett; and Kristina Smith, who was the first black Rose Queen in 1985; Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard, marching bands, community dignitaries and more.

Immediately following the parade was a community festival.  NBC4 arranged for a special meet and greet with several of the station's news team including Fritz Coleman, Toni Guinyard, Daniella Guzman, Holly Hannula, Whit Johnson, Lolita Lopez, Michelle Valles, Beverly White and Colleen Williams.
