NBC4 Southern California supports events throughout the month of October to spotlight breast cancer awareness.

On October 8, NBC4 Inland Empire Bureau Chief Tony Shin is the emcee of the 19th Annual Susan G. Komen Inland Empire Race for the Cure on October 8, 2017 at Town Square Park in Murrieta.  Visit here for all the details.

For the fourth consecutive year, the station is the exclusive broadcast sponsor for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on October 21 at the Los Angeles Convention Center with NBC4 Reporter Lolita Lopez as co-emcee, a breast cancer survivor. She will be joined by NBC4's Spanish-language sister station Telemundo 52 and Consumer Investigative Reporter Azalea Iniguez.
