For the second consecutive year, NBC4 Southern California was the exclusive media sponsor for the Boys and Girls Clubs LA Alliance Teen Summit held at UCLA on November 22, 2014.
NBC4 presented two youth interested in pursuing a career in journalism and communications $1500 scholarships at the annual event. Recipients were Vuong Hong and Melina Chow from the West San Gabriel Valley Boys & Girls Club.
NBC4 Sports Anchor and Reporter Mario Solis also moderated the sports panel discussion, and NBC4 Technology and Social Media Mekahlo Medina lead discussions on social media and working in broadcast journalism along with NBC4 producers for the "NBC4 You" media panel.
