NBC4 Southern California was the media sponsor of the Boys & Girls Club of America’s Teen Summit, an all-day conference held at UCLA for more than 1,200 Boys and Girls Club members.
The free event empowered teens to be their best on all levels through inspiring speakers and interactive break-out sessions.
NBC4 anchors, reporters, meteorologists and professionals spoke to teens about career choices, including what it takes to be a TV reporter, and the importance of a college education. Additionally, Dr. Bruce Hensel, NBC4’s Chief Health, Medical and Science Editor, participated on a Health and Wellness panel.
