NBC4 Viewer Wins Olympic Pin Collection to Benefit Local Special Olympics

Auction goes live August 8 to 18

NBC4 Southern California brought the Olympics closer to home -- all for a good cause.  The station offered a unique collection of Olympic Pins up for auction with all proceeds going to support the Special Olympics Southern California local chapter.  The lucky recipient was Andrew Needle from Northridge.

The eye-catching collection represents the spirit of the Olympic Games across the world and through the years, including new Rio 2016 pins courtesy of NBC. The entire collection is beautifully framed and ready to display. And as a bonus for the winning bidder is an exclusive, limited edition Rio 2016 tote bag filled with Rio & NBC4 giveaways.

The best part: 100 percent of the winning bid will go to the Special Olympics Southern California local chapter to provide free year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children/adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization empowers individuals to become physically fit and live happier, healthier, and longer lives.
