NBC4's Lucy Noland to Co-emcee Stray Cat Alliance Event in Support of Cat Adoptions, Spay/Neuter program

Stray Cat Alliance celebrates Halloween and saving cats' lives on Saturday, October 19th during its 13th Anniversary Evening at the Stray Cat Club. The gala will benefit Stray Cat Alliance's free programs to help homeless and owned cats throughout the Southland and beyond. NBC4 Southern California’ Lucy Noland, co-anchor of NBC4 News at Noon and NBC4 News at 6 p.m. as well as Animal Planet's Jackson Galaxy, host of “My Cat From Hell,” will co-emcee the program.

The organization's "I Spayed LA" program in South Central Los Angeles provides free spay/neuter services to low income residents and has sterilized more than 5,000 cats since January 2012. This event also supports SCA’s weekly adoptions and advocacy work.

The program will honor three champions for animals: Francis Battista of Best Friends Animal Society; Jennifer Conrad, DVM of The Paw Project; and Ady Gil, philanthropist/founder of Ady Gil World Conservation.  Special guests will include the “cat whisperer” Mieshelle Nagelschneider, actress Fiona Gubelmann and Los Angeles City Councilmember Paul Koretz.

Guests will enjoy a spectacular city view, a delicious vegan dinner and “StrayCatinis” cocktails while being entertained by magicians, psychics, animal communicators, a photo booth and bidding on silent auction items
