NBC4's Mekahlo Medina Elected President of National Association of Hispanic Journalists

NBC4 Technology and Social Media Reporter Mekahlo Medina was elected president of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) on August 9, 2014 at the annual gala and convention in San Antonio.  He will represent the association for the next two years.

As an Emmy Award-winning bilingual reporter, Mekahlo has been with NBC4 since 2006 and reports during the NBC4 News at Noon in addition to the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts.  As one of the station’s most prolific social networkers, he has an avid following on all the major social media platforms and regularly leverages news stories across multiple digital platforms.
