Demi Lovato has a new legal battle on her hands.

The "Confident" singer was just slapped with a lawsuit filed by indie band Sleigh Bells for copyright infringement.

The group claims that the former Disney darling's 2015 hit "Stars" sounds too similar to their track from 2010 titled "Infinity Guitars."

E! News has obtained the court documents where Sleigh Bells claims that the two songs are "virtually identical content" that "transcend the realm of coincidence."

Bill Cosby was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004. The judge also declared Cosby a “sexually violent predator,” which means he will have to undergo monthly counseling and register with police if he leaves prison.

According to the lawsuit, "a comparison of the two songs reveals that, at the very least, the combination of the hand claps and bass drum, structured as 3 quarter beats and a rest, with the bass drum providing a counter-rhythm to the hand claps, is at least substantially similar in both works. This infringing material repeats throughout the Defendants' song."

Lovato isn't the only one mentioned in the lawsuit, UMG Recordings and Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub were also noted in the lawsuit.

Last year, Yacoub opened up to Rolling Stone about the allegations that the two songs were similar at the time, saying, "We did not use any samples in Demi Lovato's song 'Stars'. Demi was also not involved with the production. She only wrote top line."

And shortly after the song was released late last year, the band tweeted the following at Demi:

"Flattered you guys sampled 'Infinity Guitars' and 'Riot Rhythm' for 'Stars' but we were not contacted. Gotta clear those."
