Charlie Sheen Tweets Love to Ashton Kutcher

Charlie Sheen seems to have figured out the secret to winning is being a good sport.

The deposed "Two and a Half Men" star tweeted his approval to the show's brass for their choice of Ashton Kutcher to replace him. The gracious missive reversed his initial reaction, which panned the selection.

“#Winning Congrats to the cast and crew…CBS & WB..! My best to @aplusk !!” Sheen tweeted on Friday night. “The show must go on… You got the right guy! c.”

Kutcher reciprocated with a tweet of his own. "“#2.5 @charliesheen Thank man. Always been a fan, always will be!” Kutcher wrote. “BTW you were ‘born big’”

Meanwhile, the cast and crew seems happy just to know the top-rated show is back on track.

“I’m jazzed about the news this morning that "Two and a Half Men" is coming back! For all the rest of the cast and crew I’m sure they are equally excited,” co-star Jon Cryer wrote in a statement.

“I want to express my enormous gratitude to Charlie Sheen for eight great seasons,” his statement continued. “I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve done together and I will miss him. But I’m also looking forward to this new beginning."

As for Sheen, he appears to have come around from his first take on the casting news, in which he took yet another swipe at executive producer Chuck Lorre.

“Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. Oh wait, so am I,” Sheen said in his statement to Access Hollywood on Friday. “Enjoy the show America, Enjoy seeing 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there.”
