HBO Max Acquires Public Shaming Documentary Produced by Monica Lewinsky

"15 Minutes of Shame" will feature individuals from around the world who have been publicly shamed.

A documentary on public shaming whose executive producers include Monica Lewinsky has been acquired by HBO Max, the streaming service announced Monday.

"15 Minutes of Shame" will feature individuals from around the world who have been publicly shamed and "explore the bullies, the bystanders, the media, psychologists, politicians and experts in between," according to HBO Max, which will begin operation in this spring.

The documentary will also be executive produced by Max Joseph, who co- hosted and executive produced the MTV series "Catfish: The TV Show" from 2012- 18.

"Monica Lewinsky is an anti-bullying activist with unparalleled authority, making her the perfect partner for this project," said Sarah Aubrey, HBO Max's head of original content. "And Max's strong advocacy for social justice and distinctive storytelling make him particularly well-suited to explore this complex modern phenomenon."
