Creator of ‘Honest Trailers' Fired Over Harassment Claims

Signore did not respond Tuesday to attempts to reach him via social media

Defy Media, a digital media firm, has fired the creator of its popular "Honest Trailers" online series, citing "egregious and intolerable behavior."

Several women have posted on social media that Andy Signore sexually harassed them or tried to assault them.

The company says it fired Signore on Sunday after an investigation that began in August.

Signore did not respond Tuesday to attempts to reach him via social media.

The video series provides funny commentary on recent and older movie trailers and has millions of views on YouTube. 

Signore's firing came as Hollywood took in the downfall of Harvey Weinstein, fired Sunday after a New York Times report detailed sexual harassment accusations against the big-time producer that spanned decades. Weinstein denied the allegations but issued an apology. NBC News has not confirmed the allegations.
