Kelly Clarkson spilled some exciting news during her concert at Los Angeles' Staples Center Wednesday–she's pregnant with her second child.
The surprise announcement came after Clarkson teared up while singing "Piece by Piece," a song about her relationship with her dad.
"I wasn't planning on announcing this... Totally pregnant," she gushed.
The former "American Idol" star told the packed crowd, "This is not how I wanted to announce [that I'm pregnant]. My makeup artist is backstage hating me. I didn't want you to think I'm on pills or something."
She added, "I would like to apologize to my husband. This was not planned. I'm just so hormonal. Everything is great, I haven't vomited yet. That's a win y'all."
The exciting news comes after Clarkson's famously difficult first pregnancy, which she described months after giving birth to her little girl River Rose Blackstock back in June 2014.
And in a sit-down with ET Canada, the crooner recalled how she suffered from many complications, including losing her famous voice shortly after giving birth, and initially didn't know how to handle all of her health concerns.
"Afterwards was the part where I literally had a moment where I cried and drank wine all day," she explained.
"I was like, 'Oh God, I'm not going to be a singer anymore.' I was bawling to my husband and completely hammered, just going, 'Oh my God, it's over. I don't know what I'm going to do I guess I could do more charity work.' I didn't know what I was going to do."
Clarkson tied the knot with Brandon Blackstock in a romantic ceremony in front of close friends, famous stars and family in 2013.
