Lady Gaga Undergoes Surgery After Canceling Tour Due to Hip Injury

After the pop star was forced to cancel the remainder of her "Born This Way Ball" Tour due to a hip injury, the "Judas" singer took to Twitter today to let all her little monsters know she's heading into surgery.

"Going in for surgery now," the singer-songwriter tweeted this morning. "Thank you so much for sending me love and support. I will be dreaming of you."

Gaga is suffering from a labral tear of the right hip due to a show injury, which caused the pop star intense pain to perform. She initially hoped to postpone just four shows, but ultimately had to cancel the rest of the tour.

"I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now,over the past month it has worsened," Gaga tweeted after Live Nation officially announced the cancellation. "I've been praying it would heal."

"I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans," she continued. "However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, she added, "I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry."

Get well, Gaga! Can't wait until you're fully healed and back onstage.
