Lisa Marie Presley Changes Divorce Filing to Legal Separation

The change comes just two days after learning that Presley filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years

Lisa Marie Presley decided to make a change when it comes to her divorce.

The 48-year-old amended her divorce filing against musician Michael Lockwood to reflect a legal separation instead, according to court documents E! News has obtained.

The star, who is Elvis Presley's daughter, states June 13 as the legal date of separation and cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

The change comes just two days after learning that Presley filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years. A rep for Presley previously told E! News the star wants full custody of their twin 7-year-old daughters.

Presley is not asking for spousal or child support and "doesn't want any of his money." The pair also has a postnuptial agreement, which could make legal proceedings a bit simpler.

The performer married Lockwood in 2006 and led a private life in her sprawling three-acre ranch in Hidden Hills, Louisiana, before moving to Britain.

Over the years, the couple collaborated, joining forces when Lockwood performed as Presley's main guitarist during the 2012 Storm & Grace tour.
