‘The Simpsons' Mocks Trump, Clinton in ‘3 a.m. Call' Video

Trump is caricatured as also wide-awake, but declining the "emergency" call from "Situation Room" to finish a tweet

"The Simpsons" over the weekend released a short episode on YouTube parodying the notorious "3 a.m. call" made famous by Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign for president, NBC News reported.

"It's 3 a.m., and the phone's ringing in the White House," a voice narrates in a political ad "paid for by Americans who are really starting to miss Obama."

But Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump bears the full force of the "The Simpsons" mockery.

Trump is caricatured as also wide-awake, but declining the "emergency" call from "Situation Room" to finish a tweet gloating about having exiled Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who routinely attacks Trump on Twitter and in speeches.
