Penelope Cruz in Talks for Fourth “Pirates of the Caribbean” Film

Keira Knightley may have walked the "Pirates" plank, but Penelope Cruz may be the latest wench ready to set sail to the "Caribbean" with Johnny Depp.

Cruz is reportedly in talks to join Depp in the upcoming "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," the fourth film in the popular Disney franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the fourth "Pirates" film will be shot in Hawaii this summer. The movie will be released in May 2011.

While Depp will reprise his role as Capt. Jack Sparrow, details on Cruz's role are being kept under wraps, as are most of the plot details.

However, it's believed the film will follow Capt. Jack's quest for the Fountain of Youth.

"Stranger Tides" will be directed by Rob Marshall, who worked with Cruz on "Nine," for which the actress recently earned a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination.

Both Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley – who starred in the first three "Pirate" films with Depp – have stated they will not be back for this upcoming latest installment.
