Mel Gibson, who has been MIA at recent Hollywood events, will return to the spotlight at this year's Golden Globes.
Gibson will be a presenter during the Jan. 17 show.
The broadcast will mark one of his first industry-related appearances since having his 2006 drunken driving record expunged, City News Service reported.
Gibson's film "Edge of Darkness" opens at the end of this month.
