Gwyneth in Talks to Sing on “Glee”: Report

Gwyneth Paltrow could be the next big name headed to McKinley High.

Paltrow, 37, is in talks to appear on two episodes of “Glee” where she would play a substitute teacher and love interest for Matthew Morrison’s character, Will Schuester, E! News reported.

“Glee” creator Ryan Murphy wrote the role with Paltrow in mind, according to E!’s anonymous sources.

Should Paltrow sign on for the gig, Murphy would reportedly direct the first "Glee" episode featuring the “Shakespeare in Love” Oscar winner.

Among those also slated to appear on season two of the Fox hit, which premieres Tuesday, are Britney Spears and Javier Bardem.

Paltrow’s latest film, “Country Strong,” arrives in theaters December 22.
