The light-hearted tradition of observing "Christmas in July" can take on several forms, depending on the direction you look.

On television? You may come across a movie that's typically enjoyed in December.

On your go-to shopping site? There may be sales labeled as "Christmas in July," even if the products don't boast sparkly snowmen or candy canes.

But sometimes, if you're lucky, and you like a bit of holiday spirit with your spirited sip, a full-on pop-up of the most festive variety will return for six season-celebrating days.

Blitzen's, a yuletide-themed overlay of the Here and Now bar, made its first jolly appearance in December 2018.

Fancy nog-based cocktails, dishes with a bit of wintry flair, and glasses bearing the visage of Santa Claus were hallmarks of the first go-around of the limited-time event, as were tinsel strands and lights around the bar.

That tinsel, and those Santa'd glasses, are making a merry return from July 23-28, 2019.

The December-summoning sips include Gin-gle all the Way (think Ford's Gin, Linie Aquavit, Licor 43, Lime and Tonic) and Mele Kalikimada, a rummy beverage that also rocks the mulled wine syrup.

On the food front? Sweet Potato Fritters are one toothsome choice, and, for sure, adding some delicious seasonal flavor.
