Celebrate Pride on the Promenade, in Santa Monica

The free afternoon-into-evening event'll feature an "epic DJ dance party" and several other celebratory to-dos.

What do "Miles of Pride" look like, in your mind?

To see one illuminated interpretation of the concept, you only need stop by Third Street Promenade, this June, and look up, for an incredibly large art installation is now glowing there, all to lend Pride Month plenty of loveliness and light.

And while the major West Hollywood-based bash and parade have wrapped up for 2019, Santa Monica is readying its Pride on the Promenade party, a full-scale festivity that will take place under the rainbow-hued bulbs of "Miles of Pride."

When to be there? On the afternoon and evening of Saturday, June 15.

Everything begins at 3 o'clock, and there is a real "everythingness" to the event, which'll boast oodles of delightful diversions during its seven-hour run. In short? You'll have lots to choose from, when choosing what to do.

Will there be "an epic DJ dance party under the rainbow lights" at this grand "Celebration of the LGBTQ+ community"? Oh goodness yes, so wear your move-around, shake-it-up shoes.

There's a lot happening, so it makes sense to arrive at 3 on the dot with plans to stay all seven hours.

And making it all the more merry? It's free, so stop by, hobnob, grab a bite, see a show, and dance, dance, dance under "Miles of Pride."
