Disneyland Offers Discounted SoCal Tickets

A "special ticket offer for Southern California residents" was just announced.

Many a SoCaler gathered with family and friends over the holidays, and, in the process, many people gathered around the coffee table to play a board game and word challenge, the better to pass the relaxed, no-hurry hours.

Here's one word game that many a local likes. It involves matching up the words "ticket" and "Disneyland" and "Southern California resident," and if you throw in "two days" or "three days," the pot is immediately sweetened.

We won't make you wait for the final roll of the dice on this one: Disneyland Resort just revealed "special prices" on "two or three days of magic and adventure at Disneyland and Disney California Parks."

There's a quartet of ways to go with this deal: A 2-day one-park-per-day ticket is first out of the gate, but if you like to zing back and forth between Cars Land and New Orleans Square, there's a 2-day Park Hopper.

The next options are of the three-day ilk, falling along the same lines: Choose one park per day or the choice to bop between the two theme parks as much as you like in a single day.

Prices? Everything starts at $149 for the 2-day park-per-day offer and ends at $219 for the 3-Day Park Hopper. Final date, with an asterisk? May 26, and, yes, that asterisk does involve a bit of the spring break stretch being blocked out, and Easter, too. Also, in the final dates department, note that your last day to purchase these special tickets is May 19. Bibbidi bobbidi don't delay.

How's it work? In a word, zip codes. (Okay, two words, rather.) You'll want to see if your home zone is on the SoCal-wide roster. There's more fine print, so check it all out.
