Hello, Hello Kitty Cafe Truck, We'll See You in Burbank

Heard about but haven't tried that Giant Hello Kitty Chef Cookie, yet? Here's your chance.

What to Know

  • Saturday, Feb. 9
  • Burbank Town Center
  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The pause between rainstorms?

We can get quite poetic about such times, describing them as flush with sunbeams, and happiness, and rainbows, and happy fun. All before we have to slip back into our galoshes and return to the world of puddle-jumping.

Is it any surprise, then, that one of pop culture's main bringers of sunshine, and rainbows, and joy is going to call upon our fair region as we savor the break between two big splashers?

Or, at least, the truck that represents the sunshine-bringing Hello Kitty will be visiting us, on Saturday, Feb. 9. That's when the ever-popular, queue-up Hello Kitty Cafe Truck stops by Burbank Town Center for ten twinkly hours.

What will that sparkly stretch deliver?

The chance to purchase a bunch of choice Sanrio-sweet items, including the Giant Hello Kitty Chef Cookie, the lunchbox with confetti popcorn, the new petit fours box set, a bow-shaped water bottle, a bow headband, and lots of tees, too.

A few things to keep in mind?

While the truck has toodled into a few Southern California places in recent weeks, like Torrance and Oxnard, this isn't an every-weekend kind of thing.

So do go get your super-cute sweets and souvenirs now, if you're going to do so.

Also? You'll likely hang out in line, whenever you arrive (the hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.), so plan on having a friend nearby.

Because isn't friendship at the heart of so much the Sanrio world?

Find your bow, place it atop your head, and find out more about the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck's pre-Valentine's visit to Burbank.
