Pig Cam Now Summoning the OC Fair Feels

Haven't made it to the Costa Mesa party yet? Squeal not, for this cute cam brings the oink.

What to Know

  • Costa Mesa
  • Through Aug. 11 (select days)
  • Centennial Farm

Want to ride a Ferris wheel, the blinky kind you might see dominating the skyline, or, er, fairline of a classic county fair?

Here's what you do: Go to a fair.

Likewise, if you want to eat a deep-fried candy bar, the kind they serve at a county fair, you'll need to go to a fair.

Same with seeing the fair-style competitions, the ones involving pies or quilts, and pretty much anything else you want to do that has to do with a county fair.

But here's a twist that's as curly as a piglet's tail: You actually do not physically need to go to a county fair if you want to admire the wee piggies that call the fair home.

At least when it comes to the OC Fair, that is.

For this large-scale rides-and-animals-and-more spectacular offers fans at home a way to get their squeal on, wherever those fans may be.

It's Pig Cam, it's a famous element to the summertime party, and famously adorable, too, for you can keep an eye on whatever this litter of lil' oinksters is doing.

Usually? Something that elicit sighs and/or squeals.

There's a fresh clutch of smaller pigs, and mama, too, to admire on the 2019 Pig Cam, so peek ASAP and find out if they're napping or romping or some of the piglets are attempting to nap while other piglets insist on keeping their sleeping siblings awake.

It's one of the only ways to enjoy a county fair from afar. And you can coo over the pigs in person, too, if you visit, for they call Centennial Farm, at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, home.

But piglets do grow fast, so tune in now, to get that #fairfeeling, without ever leaving your couch. And if you need to admire them from just a few feet away? The OC Fair is on through Aug. 11, 2019, on select days.
