If you can't take most of December off, with the expensive aim of jet-setting to different destinations in search of holiday high jinks and seasonal experiences, don't be blue: The Queen Mary has designs on taking you there.
No, the landmark ocean-liner, which has permanently been docked in Long Beach since 1967, won't suddenly set sail come Dec. 13, 2017, but a number of far-off lands will alight next to the famous ship, for a multi-week run of fun, fantasy, and icy pursuits.
It is CHILL we're referring to, the annual holidaytime extravaganza at the story-filled ship, but 2017 is delivering a fresh, "all-new" version of the end-of-the-year happening, complete with the "first-ever Ice Adventure Park" in the country. Intrigued? Tie on those ice skates and spin by the just-released renderings now. It's open 4:30-11 p.m. daily until Jan. 7, just closed for one day - Dec. 31.
