‘Smallfoot' Yeti Village Pops Up at Hollywood & Vine

Enter the world of the new animated Warner Bros. film, at this special walk-through experience.

What to Know

  • "Smallfoot" experience
  • Free; tickets are timed
  • Aug. 12 through Sept. 14, 2018

We may not associate the Tinseltown today with the verdant farms and fields and orchards of a century or more ago, but something has been growing at the corner of Hollywood & Vine in recent years, or, rather, a variety of offbeat things.

That's where the scary Neibolt House from the horror film "It" popped up in 2017, and that's where the snowy 'n sweet Yeti Village of the "Smallfoot" universe will live for a full late-summer month.

Warner Bros. Pictures, yes, is the studio behind both movies. And, like the "It" experience," the Yeti Village is free to see.

You'll need a timed ticket, though, and you'll probably want to get on that, as fast as water turns to ice, for the walk-through, snap-a-selfie experience is on through Aug. 12 through Sept. 14, 2018.

Inside the Smallfoot Yeti Village, wonders await. It's a "40-minute, yeti-sized adventure" that includes a spiral slide (that's a lengthy 20 feet) and a snowball pit.

Other cool-off photo opportunities dot the colorful destination.

Seeing a Yeti in Hollywood seems as unlikely as time-traveling back to when produce grew close to Hollywood Boulevard.

But, for the second year in a row, something special is sprouting at Hollywood & Vine, a bit cinematic, a bit sweet, and very, very free.

"Smallfoot" tromps into cinemas on Sept. 28, 2018.
