Stanley Cup: Where to Watch, Sip, Cheer

Does your bar have a television? Chances are good there'll be a rink on the screen.

Where does one find a venue screening a major game involving a home team? One only need to walk down any tavern- or restaurant-filled lane and listen for the throaty cheers or occasional "whats?!" or hearty rounds of applause.

Such will be the case on Wednesday, June 11 when the Los Angeles Kings square off against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Even admitted, every-so-often dabblers in hockey-watching know this: If the Kings win, they've got the Cup.

So where will you join the throngs of jersey-wearing rink watchers on June 11? Make for...

Rush Street Culver City: "15 Wide-Screen TVs"? You betcha. "2 Floors | 2 Bars | 2 Lounges" and "Sound for Kings Vs. Rangers on the 2nd Floor"? All that. Baked mac & cheese and popcorn shrimp and all the solid foodstuffs to keep you going through every near-goal? Yes, all that. We mentioned the 15 mondo televisions, right?

MESSHALL Kitchen: The bartenders of this Los Feliz eat house have invented a drink in honor of The Kings called The Last Word (think gin, green chartreuse, maraschino, and lime). It's eight bucks, and, for sure, indoor and patio TVs'll be zoned in on the game.

Goal Sports Cafe: The West Third Street bar is like a shoulder-to-shoulder line-up of big TVs over tables -- no craning of necks to catch action here -- and they've been in the swing of things with some Stanley Cup-oriented giveaways. Game 2 saw an Instagram tagging free beer or cocktail giveaway; what will Game 4 bring?
