The Big Photo Show-–the premier photography event for photo enthusiasts, advanced amateur photographers, pros, and everyone who loves taking pictures-–is returning to the Los Angeles Convention Center May 17-18, 2014.

And this year, there's something for everyone. From technique classes with top professionals to state-of-the-art cameras, accessories and software, the two-day event is an inspiring one-stop shop for all your photography needs.

The Big Photo Show is a multi-sensory experience where photo enthusiasts, like you, can see, touch, and explore the latest products rather than simply reading about them. Come and meet companies like Sony, Panasonic, Sigma, Fujifilm, Tamron, and many others. The best equipment dealers and service providers in the area will also be on hand, like Samy's Camera, Paul's Photo, Tuttle's Camera and Fromex Photo & Digital, offering great deals on everything you need.

The entire event is designed to deepen and enhance your relationship with the photography experience--from image capture to image output--meaning there will be more than 40 educational classes where leading photography instructors share their knowledge on an array of imaging techniques. Classes are available for people of all levels of ability, from new photo buffs to intermediate to advanced photographers, and most are included in the $25 entrance fee, at no additional cost. Instructors include USA Today's Jefferson Graham, Kevin Gilbert from The Discovery Channel and Mark Burnett Productions, bestselling author Lee Varis, and many other top pros from publications like The Washington Post, Time, The New York Times, Life, People, Sports Illustrated, Newsweek and National Geographic.

Burt the fun, hands-on experience doesn't stop there. At the Photo Shooting Zone, professionals will walk you through live model photo shoots, while you can also capture pictures of some very famous cars from Hollywood movies and TV shows, like the General Lee from “Dukes of Hazzard" and the Camaro from the upcoming “22 Jump Street.” You can even take part in Popular Photography and American Photo Magazine's live model shoots, alongside photographers from those iconic publications. The Big Photo Show is also proud to welcome back PMDA's Portraits of Love, which will be photographing loved ones of active duty military members onsite, then sending those portraits to men and women serving our military -- all at no cost.

All of this, and more, will be happening at the Los Angeles Convention Center May 17-18. Register for The Big Photo Show, and learn what else you can do at this exciting photography event, at thebigphotoshow.com.
