‘Will & Grace' Return: New Shake Shack Shakes

A pair of dreamy desserts celebrates the hit NBC series and its late-September re-launch.

When a favorite, beloved, highly reference-ready show returns to television, fans are often inspired to create menus around the returns.

Dishes that characters have mentioned are lovingly cooked, drinks themed to the setting are stirred/shaken, and a full feast becomes part of a true fan's celebratory welcome-back bash.

When it comes to "Will & Grace," which is back on NBC starting on Thursday, Sept. 28, fans may not need to look too far for a frosty, in-the-swing-of-things sweet to round out their viewing dinner. Shake Shack, in partnership with NBC, has just introduced a pair of shakes in honor of the anticipated return of the hit series, which wrapped in the spring of 2006.

The tempting shakes? There's the Will & Grace Shake, a treat that rocks the cinnamon marshmallow frozen custard as a creamy base, with Shack fudge serving as the blend-it-up ingredient.

On top is the all-important whipped cream, and the complementary cinnamon sugar, too.

Strawberry frozen custard is at the sassy heart of the Jack & Karen Shake, as well as prosecco, a sparkling nod to the bubbly often seen on the series. Whipped cream rounds it all out, and rainbow sprinkles, and a dash of raspberry dust, too.

The shakes are $5.99 each, and will be available at the Hollywood and West Hollywood locations.

And best of all: Two bucks from each shake sold will go to help GLAAD, which engages in media advocacy in support of LGBTQ stories and characters.

But how long will these magically sippable creations be available? Through the show's premiere date of Sept. 28, yes, and a bit beyond: Sunday, Oct. 1 is your last chance to buy one or both.

They're available now, though, so gather up your dearest "Will & Grace" devotees and swing by for a themed, TV-fun, sweet-of-spirit shake.
