Who ya gonna call, when September draws near and you want to brave one of the scariest, maze-iest places in town?

Well... probably your pals, the friends who dig a night full of frights, costumed characters, eerie photo opps, and atmospheric experiences.

The same crew who can quote "Ghostbusters," from start to finish, and who instantly can tell the difference between a metaspectre and an ectoplasmic manifestation.

    Like that's even hard. Duh.

So best strap on your proton packs and warm up your Ecto-1, as you'll soon want to zoom for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. For the iconic autumntime event is ready to cross the streams, for the first-time ever, on a "Ghostbusters"-themed maze.

The news, which'll be as exciting to longtime fans as a fresh target to slime is to Slimer, was announced on July 17, 2019.

For it's the 35th anniversary of the 1984 blockbuster, and classic characters from the flick will surely make creepy and/or comical cameos in the maze.

That means Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston will be nearby, and Gozer the Gozerian, and everyone's super-giant, super-soft, incredibly malevolent marshmallow, Stay-Puft himself.

Locations from the film, including the New York Public Library and the famous firehouse that served as the HQ for the busters o' ghosts, will also be seen as maze goers wend their nerve-wracking way through the phantom-filled space.

There is no Dana, only Zuul, or so we've heard. And there's no time to waste on securing your pass or ticket, for opening day of the multi-night eek-stravaganza is less than two months out.

Oh, yes, and there's a special fan preview night, too, on the evening ahead of the opening. That's on Sept. 12, while Halloween Horror Nights officially kicks off on Friday, yes, the 13th of September.

Universal Studios and NBC-owned TV stations operate under the same parent company NBCUniversal.
