National Hispanic Media Coalition MediaCon Announced

The National Hispanic Media Coalition is holding its annual MediaCon event, organized to advance the image and careers of Latinos in media, on March 27 at the Hilton in Universal City.

MediaCon convenes industry executives, media influencers, writers and producers, as well as diversity, public relations and marketing professionals to network, share best practices and discuss the role Latinos play in trends and emerging issues in the entertainment industry.

The leaders of entertainment at ABC, CBS and NBC, including Paul Lee, Nina Tassler, and Jennifer Salke, respectively, will join the keynote panel to discuss the changing climate in broadcast television and address the importance of diversity in front and behind the camera.

Topics this year will include opportunities in television programming; the segmented Latino movie-going audience; how to reach the emerging online audience; and, NHMC’s signature panel spotlighting successful Latinas in entertainment.

Previous keynote speakers at MediaCon have included entertainment industry leader Haim Saban, Chairman and CEO of the Saban Capital Group, and Walter Ulloa, CEO of Entravision Communications Corporation.
