Inara George Brings Vocal Talent to Dengue Disco

Now Hear This: Dengue Fever, arguably Losanjealous’ perennial favorite Los Angeles/Long Beach-based ’60s Cambodian Khmer pop group named after a debilitating disease, will be releasing a four-track EP entitled Radio Dance Floor, July 14. Said cassingle digi-EP (cover pictured at right, though, since it’s a digi-only-EP, much as we all surely enjoy staring at Chhom’s mug, cover art seems a bit superfluous in this instance, not unlike a few of the extraneous commas, words, and clauses in this sentence). Anyhow, the lead-in track features another Losanjealous fave, Bird and the Bee’s Inara George (have you downloaded her free tune courtesy Losanjealous and Limewire yet? Hmm?) on lead vocals, singing the disco classic “I Feel Love.” Stream it now:

Fun stuff. Now I get to hit the (digi) decks and switch between Donna Summer, Jimmy Somerville and Inara, seamlessly, while all the booties in the house are shaking madly.
