ArroyoWorld: 750ml Becoming Flourhouse, Bicenetennial 13 Will Be Potato Chips

We joked with Steven Arroyo that he must like changing concepts at his myriad venues just to come up with new names, but he assures us it's just to find what works. As previously reported, Arroyo closed South Pasadena's 750ml bistro to turn it into a neighborhood pizza joint, and we finally have more details. The new name is Flourhouse, the space itself will go through some minor changes making it more conducive to pizza pick-up and family friendly, and it should debut around November 15. The windows are tightly papered over so no prying eyes could see inside, but there was a lone menu hanging on the door to get passersby excited. Short and sweet, some nice looking pizzas, a few pastas, salads. Voila.

And over near the original Cobras y Matadors, the Daily Dish dishes that Arroyo is changing the Bicentennial 13 wine shop to a sandwich shop called Potato Chips. Why Potato Chips? Because he found an antique sign and liked the name. The shop have grab-and go sandwiches, salads and we're sure chips, and it will still sell wine that you can take to tapas next door. Look for a late November debut.
