Auto Show Brings Horsepower to OC

Cars, wings, girls, superheroes ... and more

Get ready to rev your engines.

The Orange County Auto Show starts Thursday Oct. 7 at the Anaheim Convention Center and continues through Sunday (In full disclosure, the OC Auto Show advertises on NBC).

The auto show has a little something of everything: superheroes, Hooters girls, swimsuit model contest, a Mixed Martial Arts demonstration, wing eating contest, and of course, cars.

Visitors can peruse the latest 2011 car models from more than 30 manufactures, and even test drive the 100 percent electric Nissan LEAF. Or, they can drool over the latest luxury cars like the Ferrari 458 Italia or the Maserati Quattroporte.

Additional perks include a free one-year subscription to Motor Trend magazine and a chance to win a 1967 and 2010 Corvette with box office or online purchase.

Tickets for adults are $10, with discounts for seniors and students, and admission is free for kids.
