If ever there was a Hammer-Museum-and-KCRW-sitting-in-the-tree-k-i-s-s-i-n-g moment, it is right about now.
Because it is right about now that Also I Like to Rock plugs in the amps. If you were anywhere in the Westwood area last summer, and if you like fresh music that makes your mind tingle, you were likely at the Hammer for these forward-sounding, KCRW-backed nights.
The first Also I Like to Rock in 2010 is on Thursday, July 1 at 8 p.m. Saint Motel will play. So will Kitten. And DJ Dan Wilcox will be Dan-Wilcox-ing the heck out of the sounds. And the galleries will be open for people needing moments of solitude and art-looking.
There will be four July Thursday night Also I Like to Rocks in total. Check out the line-ups and DJs and check out the pass, too. It's $25.
