On March 23, St. Vincent Meals on Wheels is rolling out one of the first L.A. food trucks that isn’t looking to profits. Cart For a Cause will navigate the city every Tuesday through the fall, featuring high-profile chefs making $10 meals in an effort to raise funds to help feed hungry senior citizens. First up: Nobu Matsuhisa of Matsuhisa and Nobu fame. Walter Manzke, Susan Feniger (Street), Sal Marino (Il Grano), Eric Greenspan (The Foundry), Josef Centeno (Lazy Ox Canteen), Jean Francois Meteigner (La Cachette), Vinny Dotolo & Jon Shook (Animal) will also roll and cook for charity.
