Comic-Con Hotels to Open for Bookings

One of the biggest mornings of the year, for Comic-Con people.

We'll keep this short, because we know you're probably mid-costume-planning, and we know you're poring over the hotel list of the 2010 Comic-Con.

The hotel reservations for the mega-pop-culture convention open at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 18. If you've tried to book a hotel on the opening date, at the discounted Comic-Con price, you know. You know you have to be on top of it, right out of the gate. That so many other people are trying at the same time as you, for the very same hotel rooms.

You have to know what you want and start dialing and start clicking and start reserving and have a second choice ready and a third. And a twelfth.

We know where you're at. The fretting. We've been there, and will be again. It's intense. Fun intense, but intense.

The 2010 Comic-Con happens July 22-25 in San Diego. You want your perfect stay. You want close to the convention center, we're guessing. You don't want to attempt to walk all those blocks in superhero platforms. We love superheroes, and we don't want you to get callouses on your superhero feet.

But even if you can't stay close-close, don't sweat it; there are lots of hotels on the shuttle route. Good stuff. Put your feet, and all your swollen bags, up.

So prepare, Comic-Con friends. Wake early, get the coffee going, book. And, for the love of all that is good and true, read everything you need to know about this process before 9 a.m. on March 18. Thank you.
