Countywide Call to Action to Address Homelessness

On October 19-21, 2018, there will be a first of its kind 'Weekend to End Homelessness' campaign to engage neighbors with their local homeless organization.

The campaign is coordinated by the Homeful.LA, Los Angeles Homeless Service Authority (LAHSA), Los Angeles County Homeless Initiatives, Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Office of Public Engagement, and several state, county, and local elected officials.

Together, there will be over 65 events across Los Angeles County throughout the course of the weekend. People can volunteer, make a donation, or learn more about homeless solutions by taking a tour of a local service center.

Highlights include:

• Kick-off Event in the San Gabriel Valley featuring live performances and special speakers, hosted by Supervisor Hilda L. Solis. on Fri, October 19 from 5pm-8pm. at Bassett Park in La Puente.

• Arroyo Round Up Car Show and Homeless Information Fair/Donation Drive hosted by Councilmember Gil Cedillo on Saturday, October 20 from 12-6pm at Highland Park.
