"With a nod from Barack Obama, it seems more likely that Antonio Villaraigosa will be well-positioned to run for Governor, especially as Obama must not have been too happy with all that "skinny man" talk from Arnold at that ill-advised McCain rally. If Villaraigosa leaves LA, the best new mayor would be someone who understands the value of neighborhoods and lifestyle, not the "Gap on every corner" sensibility of Rick Caruso. That someone should be Eric Garcetti."
